SINISTRE was first released on VHS by Todd Sheets' defunct Asylum Home Video in 1995. SRS Cinema re-released an altered version on VHS in 1997, then again on DVD in 2006. After editing Phil Stevens' horror movies, FLOWERS and LUNG, director/editor Ronnie Sortor resurrected his first feature into the digital realm. Using original raw camera footage, the entire movie has been re-edited from scratch. Additional special effects scenes were shot to complete the director's original vision. The SINISTRE soundscape has been overhauled as well. Currently, Mark Kueffner, the composer of FLOWERS, LUNG and ANOMALY is working on a new score. Look for the SINISTRE Director's Cut in early 2017!
